DevOps Engineer (3-5 Years Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining our software delivery pipeline. You will work closely with development and operations teams to improve our deployment processes, increase reliability, and enhance overall system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Automation:
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• CI/CD Pipeline:
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor pipeline performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Monitoring and Alerting:
• Set up monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track system health and performance.
• Configure alerting systems to notify teams of critical issues.
• Analyze system logs to identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Security:
• Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and secure coding standards.
• Configure security tools and policies to protect infrastructure and applications.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and incident response.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with security tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles
• Experience with serverless computing platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)
